Sri Mulyani Indrawati So the World Bank Managing Director
Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati was appointed World Bank Managing Director. Similarly World Bank stated in a statement Tuesday (05/04/2010) local time, as quoted Reuters.
The World Bank President Robert Zoellick said, Sri Mulyani is a leading finance ministers can play a key role to lead the World Bank in strengthening client support and implement reforms.
According to a statement the World Bank, Sri Mulyani will start an office in Washington on June 1, 2010, to replace Juan Jose Daboub that will end his four-year tenure on June 30 this.
Position Managing Director is only one level below the World Bank President Robert Zoellick, who represents the highest level of leadership in the world's financial institutions. (Kompas.com) ...
